About Sandpiper Speech Therapy Inc
Sandpiper Speech Therapy Inc was established in 2021 by Christina Nenninger, a speech-language pathologist (SLP) who is licensed to practice speech therapy in the States of California and New Mexico. Christina also holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a 2019 ASHA ACE Award recipient. Christina has experience working with children with a variety of diagnoses, such as Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome. After more than 11 years of SLP experience in the local public schools and pediatric clinics, Christina decided to pursue a practice of her own. This endeavor would give her the freedom to conduct therapy in a unique way that is convenient for families and aimed at helping children reach their fullest potential. She is committed to providing ethical, evidence-based treatment that is individualized to meet the specific needs of each child. Christina currently treats children with a variety of speech and language impairments, however, as a PROMPT Bridging-Trained Therapist, Christina specializes in treating children with speech sound disorders, such as Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). And as a mother herself, Christina understands how busy life can be while raising children. That is why Christina is pleased to offer in-home, community, and online services to her clients and families.
